Workshop Q & A
1) When and where exactly is the workshop being held?
After agreeing to the Terms and Conditions you will be sent to a Calendar link, where all our upcoming workshops will be displayed.

2) I looked at the Calendar, but there are no workshops near me that I can attend.
Feel free to use our Contact Us page to suggest locations and times that are convenient for you, and we'll be in touch.

3) How much does the workshop cost?
Depending on factors such as location, each workshop has a unique price. Also, we offer discounts to anyone who signs up early.

4) I want to attend a certain workshop, but it won’t let me sign up.
Most likely the workshop is full, in which case you can sign up on the Wait List and you will be contacted if a spot opens up. Another possibility is technical problems, in which case please wait a while and try again. If you’re still having problems, please email us at info@helpingtheniceguy.com.

5) I signed up and paid for a workshop, but I can’t come after all.
We try to be as understanding as possible. Up until 24 hours before the workshop, you can cancel by clicking on the link in your Registration Confirmed email. If you no longer have that email, please contact us at info@helpingtheniceguy.com to have us resend. (Don’t forget to include the email address you registered with, and your first and last name.) Please note there is a $10 Cancellation Fee so you will be refunded what you paid, minus $10.

If it’s less than 24 hours notice, we’re very sorry, but we won’t be able to give you a refund.

6) I want to cancel but it’s within 24 hours of the workshop and the online
system won’t let me. What do I do?

Our online registration system closes 24 hours before the workshop. Please email us at info@helpingtheniceguy.com or call us at (818) 859-9870 to notify us of your cancellation. (And we’re very sorry, but we won’t be able to give you a refund.)

7) Why is there a $10 Cancellation Fee?
We charge a fee to cover the costs of the online registration system and the credit card fees.

8) I tried to sign up for a workshop, but received an email notification of
Payment Failure and that my registration didn’t go through.

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience. Mostly likely there was a technical problem or an issue with your credit card. Please try again, perhaps using a different credit card. (Note: the address you provide must match the billing address for the credit card)

9) Can I change which workshop I attend?
No. We’re very sorry, but we cannot exchange your seat to a different workshop. You’re welcome to cancel and receive your refund minus the $10 Cancellation Fee, and then sign up for any future workshop you can attend.

10) Can I just show up and attend the workshop?
No, because we want the best experience for our Nice Guys, we do not allow “walk-ins.”

11) Why do I have to be 18 years or older?
While we want to help out all Nice Guys, for legal reasons we cannot allow
attendees under the age of 18.

12) Why do you only accept credit cards?
Currently, we cannot accept any other form of payment. Thank you for your
understanding.

13) Why do you ask for my friend’s email address?
We want to spread the word, and what better way than to give a Nice Guy the opportunity to tell his fellow Nice Guys.

14) I received an email from your company and I don’t want to be
contacted again.

We’re very sorry. Please feel free to click on the link at the bottom of the email we sent you to opt out. Also, you’re welcome to use our Contact Us form to notify us that you no longer wish to be on our mailing list.

One-on-One Session Q & A

1) Why do I have to attend a workshop before having a one-on-one
session?

Our one-on-one sessions are designed to be follow-ups to our workshop.

2) I attended the workshop and now I want to have a follow-up one-on-one
session.

Great! Just go to the Sign Up page and choose the One-on-One option. (Don’t forget to use the same email address you used to sign up for the workshop.)

3) When and where exactly will the one-on-one be held?
The place and time for one-on-one sessions will be scheduled at the mutual convenience of the client and our staff.

4) I signed up, paid and am scheduled for a one-on-one session, but I
can’t meet after all.

We try to be as understanding as possible. Up until 24 hours before the one-on-one session, you can cancel by emailing info@helpingtheniceguy.com or call us at (818) 859-9870. Please note there is a $10 Cancellation Fee so you will be refunded what you paid, minus $10.
